The Small Business
Council is committed to better serve the
small business community within the Gateway
Chamber.
By serving as a common platform for small
business owners and employees to network and
interact, the SBC is dedicated to meeting
the needs of small businesses. Through a
process of mutual symbiosis, its members can
use this platform to help educate other
businesses while simultaneously gaining
knowledge and insight into other industries
from their peers. Thus small business owners
can keep themselves up-to-date on current
marketplace values and business trends.
The SBC will further
serve as a portal through which member
businesses will gain valuable exposure and a
stage to build formal and personal
relationships that can lead to profitable
partnerships and advantageous long-term
referrals and mentoring.
Through educative
seminars the SBC also hopes to inform and
educate its members on the various laws and
policies that govern small businesses.
The SBC shall act as a
powerful common arena for the voices of the
small business community to be heard by the
State.
