Scholarship Awards
KENILWORTH
CHAMBER AWARDED
BREARLEY STUDENTS WITH SCHOLARSHIPS
The Kenilworth Chamber of Commerce awards two
Kenilworth High School Seniors $1,000 scholarships
each spring to help them continue their education.
The Kenilworth Chamber has been raising money for
these scholarships through its Street Banner Program
and through the Taste of Kenilworth events it holds
each autumn.
2009 Kenilworth Chamber's Scholarship Awards
Ms. Nikita Lotwala, who will be graduating from the
Union County Academy for Allied Health Sciences, and
Mr. Joseph Puerari, who will be graduating from
David Brearley High School, accepted their awards in
a small ceremony that
took place at the Kenilworth Public Library on the
afternoon of May 26, 2009.
The ceremony was attended by Joe Renna, Chairman of
the Kenilworth Chamber of Commerce, Isabel Coronel,
Cochair of the Kenilworth Chamber of Commerce and
Jessica Ramirez, member of the Kenilworth Chamber’s
scholarship
committee.
Ms. Lotwala will attend Rutgers University and Mr.
Puerari will attend Union County College in the Fall
of 2009.
2008 Kenilworth Chamber's Scholarship Awards
The Kenilworth Chamber of Commerce
awarded one Kenilworth High School Senior with a
$1,000 scholarship for their continued education.
Matthew J. Bihler, who will be
graduating from the Union County Magnet High School,
accepted his award in a small ceremony that took
place at the Kenilworth Public Library on the
afternoon of May 27, 2008.
2007 Kenilworth Chamber's Scholarship Awards
Several students submitted applications for the
scholarships during the course of the 06-07 school
year and at their May Chamber meeting, the members
of the Kenilworth Chamber of Commerce selected two
winners.
Nicholas Paras, who will be graduating from the
Union County Magnet High School, and Christine
Conahan, who will be graduating from David Brearley
High School accepted their awards in a small
ceremony that took place at the Kenilworth Public
Library on June 5, 2007.
Chamber president Mark Bistis noted that the group
was very pleased to again be able to offer two
scholarships this year.
2006 Kenilworth Chamber's Scholarship Awards
Eric Dustin and Ashely Vellanti, both graduating
from David Brearley High School accepted their
$1,000 scholarships in a small ceremony that took
place at the Kenilworth Public Library on May 31,
2006.
