Far and away the largest business association in Northern New Jersey, the Gateway Regional Chamber of Commerce is also one of the oldest.  Established in 1911, one of our founding members was John D. Rockefeller.

Now with around 1,500 members, Gateway is the fastest growing business in the state and has one of the highest retention rates in the country, according to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

Members of Gateway range from large corporations like Merck, Schering-Plough, FedEx and Continental Airlines to a very active home-based business community.

Gateway attracts and retains members from all over the business spectrum because of the emphasis we put on business services.  Members are able to take advantage of the increased exposure, influence and services available to a chamber of our size. 

There are many events that members can attend including networking socials, educational business seminars, special interest groups, gala award dinners, business expos, trade fairs, and local activities.  The size of our organization multiplies the networking possibilities for members.

In addition, Gateway’s size allows us to negotiate savings on business services for our members, such as telecommunications, credit card processing, training, health insurance, dental programs, and a wide range of other services.

Because of its size, Gateway Regional Chamber of Commerce is an effective advocate for the business community at a federal, state and local level.
